Notes on the foot

 looking at the first example we take a generic building block approach to get a basic understanding of the foot.

The second example shows how recognizing the size of the foot to face ratio, and breaking down the proportions can help create the foot quick easy. Take note of the differences between both the inside and outside of the foot in example 2.

Formulas from example 2 to can also be applied to example 3; drawing the foot in 3-D.

Also keep in mind that these examples are not an extremely accurate anatomical studies of the foot; but rather general approaches to understand the foot. You are  also encouraged to relate back to an anatomy book on accurate depictions of the foot to further help you.
